I’ve been having this for a while and just ran across it again… I figured I’d make one of those aggravating animated GIFs with it… just a little fun:

Once a month we get together with a local group of photographers and dub ourselves “Camera Club”.  Sometimes we have assignments, challanges, etc… this past month the assignment was “Shoot someone you love”.  I chose my dad.  Here are a couple of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Ready or Not… Here we go!

January 21st, 2009 9:45 am

Well… today is the first full day that President Obama is in office. I urge everyone who shares great pride in this country to join us in the celebration of this historic time. Regardless of your beliefs, or even my beliefs for that matter, we are now called to continue the pride of what it means to be free. It is inevitable that change has come. For many of us it means HOPE, yet for many others it means something totally different. No matter your opinion make sure you share your voice. It is up to you as a responsible citizen to share your thoughts and to remember that it was these thoughts that has made the great country we have today. Continue to pray for and support our great country. It’s up to you to make these next four years something to really look forward to. This note is not a bias for or against our new president, but a challenge to each one of us. Join your community and country and become a voice.
Here is an image of President Obama that I’ve always loved. Esquire magazine has great covers… I know this is from June 2008 and you may have seen it before… Just thought I’d share it again.
Peace!

  4. Ali says:

    So what exactly happened?

  5. I’ve dropped the phone tons of times… both really hard and from high distances. The one time i drop it from a short distance and very little force… SMASH!

  6. AHHHHH dude I’ve had dreams about this! Bad dreams! haha

  7. mine looks like that! short distances = no good.

2009… Looking ahead.

January 13th, 2009 10:12 pm

Once a month our local downtown has an Art Walk to promote local artist and the culture of our area. Art Walk is held on the second Saturday of every month. Unfortunatly I was unable to attend this month due to scheduling conflicts. I wanted to make sure I put it in my calender for next month in order not to miss it. Turns out I can’t actually make anothe one until June. I have to admit… June and July are typically “up in the air” months for me so it’s not for sure.

With that said I’m trying to decide whether or not this is a good thing. I’m glad I’m busy and I have lots going on, but I hate missing out on these sort of things. Maybe they can schedule some on Thursdays… I’m usually free on Thursdays!

Here’s to a wonderfully productive and hope filled 2009!
