Quality is always poor with a camera phone, but I was “somewhat” impressed with this quality at night.

Finally had a little time for computer work. We are sitting at a coffee shop trying to get a little caffene and unload cards. I fell in love with this one as soon as i shot it. As you know we are going to be shooting a band tonight. We will be shooting here in the warehouse district, but probably inside. We are also working on a rooftop shoot. A few people owe us some favors so it just might work out. Anyway… Casey, here is your shot!

Coffee is great! Its looking like we are going to be able to shoot a band tonight. We start after 10:30p so its looking like we are going to be shooting all night! Who needs sleep?!?! Well… Off to more shooting!

I couldn’t help myself. I had to get at least one shot up on the blog. This shot was taken downtown Kansas City after dinner. I can’t really keep my eyes open right now and I’m sitting in the dark so I hope this looks ok! I guess I will see for myself tomorrow (well… today).

Well… Its almost 1:30a and we haven’t stopped. Shooting, dinner, talking shop, shooting, talking shop. Lots of good stuff just not a lot of computer time. We are hoping to line up a band to shoot tomorrow but if not who knows what we are going to come up with! Dinner was great tonight. We ate at “Flying Saucers”. They had lots of great beer on tap and a great atmosphere. We walked around downtown for a bit and shot after dinner and now we are hanging out talking business and shooting the breeze. Her is Ben. He is pushing being awake for over 24 hours (as are the rest of us).

Sooo… Its almost 8:15p and we are still on the road. Its been a great day. Lots of laughs and lots of pictures. I’m hoping to get a few images processed and posted tonight, but I’m guessing it is going to be late. Check back for updates!

I left my house this morning at 4:15a to embark on what I am hoping to be an amazing photo roadtrip! I am heading up to Kansas City with my buddies Ben Spell and Jason Cohen. Our goal is to experience 4 days of nonstop shooting, meeting up with other photographers, cratique sessions, and group discussions of the business of photography. I’m really looking forward to the trip! We are currently on the road driving a little over 900 miles north. I’ll be blogging (as usual) so check back for daily updates and camera phone experiences. I’ll also be posting some work once I can process the images and get Internet access. Stay tuned…
